The Blenheim Centre is a major new £220 million, mixed-use development in the centre of Hounslow. The complex will comprise retail, leisure, offices, both private and affordable keyworker housing and additional community facilities. The scheme comprises some 102,000 sq m (1.1 million sq ft) on the site known previously as ‘Key Site One’.

The development is being carried out by a partnership between developers Blenheim Norwest Limited and US based investors Apollo International Real Estate Fund

This site has been earmarked for development by the local authority for many years. In October 2003, the developers Blenheim Norwest announced that the US private equity fund manager Apollo Real Estate Advisors had agreed to fund the development of the site in a joint venture partnership with Blenheim Norwest Limited

The plans encompass circa 17 acres of land stretching from the existing High Street in the south to the underground line in the North , with Alexandra Road to the West and Cecil Road to the East. The site includes the existing post office, houses and car parks in Holloway Street, the Conservative Club and ten high street shops.

Improvements to local infrastructure are an integral part of the area's regeneration and the development includes a direct pedestrian link from Hounslow Central underground station (Piccadilly Line), enhanced public transport bus services, licensed taxi stands and extensive community and recreation areas. Local parking will be boosted by the 1000 planned spaces. A new war memorial is also being provided.

Michael Aukett Architects Limited are the appointed consultants for Phase One of the project. Leslie Jones Architects are the lead consultants for Phase Two. Full details of the professional team can be accessed via this website.
